The start-up Corat-Therapeutics, founded in 2021, found itself in exactly this situation when it approached us with the task of creating a new website. There was already a simple website that had been designed in a quick process when the company was founded, but it no longer met the expectations and wishes of our client.  <\/p>\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n<p>A successful brand presence is based on a stable design foundation. In order to convey the company&#8217;s message, graphics, images, fonts and image concepts must be consistent down to the smallest detail and correspond to the core message &#8211; in other words, an implementation with a high design standard. <\/p>\n\n<p>For Corat-Therapeutics, we developed a graphic concept based on the representation of an antibody that visually focuses on the company&#8217;s therapeutic approach. Antibodies based on antibody libraries from recovered COVID patients are the central component of the biochemical concept that can ultimately prevent the spread of the viral spike protein. This therapeutic approach is visually reflected in the logo and the corporate design.  <\/p>\n\n<p>But not only the design must be coherent, usability and technical implementation are also important elements in the development process. On the one hand, the website should of course be easy and intuitive to use, but maintenance must also be designed in such a way that a start-up in particular does not need a lot of time to implement new content. <\/p>\n\n<p>For the Corat website, we therefore used the CMS WordPress with the page builder Divi, which makes it easy to manage the content. In addition, many expansion options can be integrated with this well-known system. <\/p>\n\n<p>We already used one of the extension options for the blog module on the Corat website. The &#8220;News &amp; Events&#8221; section, where the blog articles appear, was given a completely new and unique look. A visual implementation of the news topics was created using photos or graphics in combination with additional icons that picked up on the topic again in terms of content.  <\/p>\n\n<p>For start-ups in particular, it is important that the website can evolve just as the company does. It must be easy to add modules or menu items.
