The number of website visitors from search engines has more than tripled within a year!

A big issue for every pet owner is the fear of losing their pet. However, a missing animal is by no means lost forever. Many animals are found and handed in to an animal shelter or veterinary practice. However, only previously identified and registered animals can be identified immediately and thus returned to their owners.

FINDEFIX, the pet register of the German Animal Welfare Association, offers a free registration and search service for pet owners, which enables animals to be found quickly and successfully if they are lost. This is effective animal protection, and the new FINDEFIX websiteplays a key role in this.

Once the site had been set up as a search and registration platform on the web by vierviertel, the next step was to increase the use of the website and raise brand awareness.

To achieve this goal, we developed an inbound marketing strategy together with the FINDEFIX teamand laid the necessary foundations in various workshops during the set-up phase. This included defining a persona and the customer journey in relation to pet owners. Furthermore, the content priorities were set and the key figures defined in order to measure the success of the subsequent measures.

vierviertel and the FINDEFIX teamhave been continuously implementing inbound marketing for more than 12 months. The measures include advertising campaigns in search engines (SEA) and YouTube, on-page optimization of content as part of the SEO strategy, the strategic content structure of the website, landing pages, forms, call-to-action and usability optimization.

Thanks to the strategic structure of the texts and website elements and search engine optimization (SEO), we achieved a 344% increase in website visitors from search engines in the first quarter of 2019 compared to the same quarter of the previous year.

In order to monitor and support the continuous progress and keep an eye on the objectives, vierviertel prepares monthly reports and provides operational and advisory support for the project. The website performance is evaluated using Google Analytics, Sistrix and other analysis tools. In this way, suitable measures can be developed and implemented to further increase success. We also hold quarterly meetings every three months to reflect on the measures taken in the previous months and plan new campaigns.
