Difficult topics – simply communicated

The collaboration with the Institute for Quality and Efficiency in Health Care began as part of a competition. Its main task is to compile and publish information on current health issues for all citizens – as neutrally and comprehensibly as possible.

This gave rise to the idea of launching a campaign aimed specifically at the so-called “socially disadvantaged”. After all, access to reliable information is not a matter of course for this target group in particular.

The brief for vierviertel was to develop a concept for how to get this special target group interested in a health topic while at the same time conveying all the key facts about the relevant clinical picture as quickly and comprehensibly as possible. According to the motto: raise awareness without scaring off – inform without lecturing.

The result is a series of large-format posters that are placed in suitable locations such as health authorities, clinics or social institutions. These are accompanied by corresponding background flyers with more in-depth information. The entire topic was presented in as structured and catchy a form as possible – with the help of intermediate headings, short and clear statements as well as explanatory pictograms and graphics.

In addition to “first aid” with practical tips and essential information on specific disease topics, the campaign naturally also aims to refer people to the extensive range of information available on the dedicated website “gesundheitsinformation.de”. To make access easier, QR codes have been placed on all communication media, which link directly to the relevant topic pages.
